About Sponge
Founded in 2005, Sponge offers immersion-based language enrichment classes at numerous elementary schools and preschools in the greater Seattle area. We also offer year-round online classes and private/semi-private tutoring.
In addition, Sponge’s curriculum is being used under license by the Highline School District for their language enrichment programs. It has also been used by the Mercer Island School District for their World Languages Program covering students across all their elementary schools.
Sponge is the only language provider in the Seattle area that has been a Winner or Finalist in ParentMap Magazine’s Golden Teddy award for Best After School and Enrichment Classes and Best Infant and Toddler Classes for six consecutive years! We’ve also been recognized by Red Tricycle and Seattle Metropolitan Magazine.
